1. About the Business
Creatively Quirky is a small Australian business owned and operated by Belinda Gabell in Mount Gambier, SA.
We hand-craft personalised keepsakes such as Memory Bears, art dolls, and custom embroidery made from clothing or fabrics supplied by you.
2. Handmade Nature of Products
Each item is handmade to order and may vary slightly from images shown.
While every effort is made to replicate the look, fabrics, and style discussed, small differences in stitching, placement, or colour tone are part of the charm of handcrafted work and do not constitute faults.
If your supplied fabric is delicate, aged, or damaged, we’ll handle it with care but cannot guarantee its durability once sewn.
3. Orders and Payment

All prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

Payment is required in full at the time of ordering unless otherwise arranged.

Orders are confirmed once payment is received and your clothing or materials have arrived.

Custom work begins only after both payment and materials are received.
4. Turnaround and Delivery

Current turnaround time is approximately 4–6 weeks from the date your clothing arrives (subject to order volume and complexity).

Orders are shipped Australia-wide via Australia Post with tracking.

Once dispatched, delivery times are outside our control.

Creatively Quirky is not responsible for delays caused by postal services or events beyond our control.
5. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations
Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund or replacement if an item is faulty, damaged, or significantly different from its description.
Because all keepsakes are custom-made from your supplied materials, refunds cannot be issued for:

Change of mind, or

Minor variations in handmade finish.
If your item arrives damaged or with a genuine defect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with clear photos so we can arrange repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.
6. Care Instructions
Each keepsake is intended as a display or sentimental piece, not a toy for children.
Bears and dolls contain small parts and are not safety-tested for play.
Please follow the care guidance provided with your order to help preserve your keepsake.
7. Customer-Supplied Materials
By sending clothing or fabric for transformation into a keepsake, you confirm that:

You are authorised to use and post those materials, and

You understand that some trimming, cutting, or alteration is required as part of the creative process.
We take every care, but Creatively Quirky cannot accept liability for loss or damage to items in transit to or from our studio.
We recommend posting via a tracked and insured service.
8. Intellectual Property
All product photos, text, and designs on this website are the property of Creatively Quirky and may not be copied or used without permission.
By purchasing, you grant us permission to photograph and share your finished keepsake (without identifying information) on our website or social media unless you request otherwise.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Creatively Quirky will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or products.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

We respect your privacy. Personal information is collected only for order processing and communication.
